Apollo pricing: free plan
In the Free plan, you get 1,200 credits per user per year, but they’re granted monthly. In other words, every user gets 100 credits every month.

The Professional plan: starts at $79 per user per month
On a monthly basis, this plan will set you back $99 per user per month.
It comes with features for your entire sales workflow. You get everything from Basic, but you now have 48,000 credits per user per year, granted up front. Features remain the same as those in Basic, but there are some additions:
- Sequences now come with A-Z testing
- Projects are unlocked
- Unlimited Gmail & Microsoft mailboxes
- Automated workflows
- US dialer
- Parallel & power dialer
- Call recordings & AI insights (4,000 mins)

This plan is excellent for established sales teams that need to scrape and export data for further use. However, if you want advanced security configurations and seamless integration with AI tools, you might want to take a look at the highest tier.
The Organization plan: starts at $119 per user per month when billed annually
When billed monthly, this plan will cost you $149 per user per month. It comes with 72,000 credits. Other major changes include 8,000 minutes of call recordings and AI insights, and 12 intent topics instead of 6.
Additional features include:
- Customizable reports & dashboards
- Advanced security configurations
- Single Sign-on (SSO)
- Use your own LLM API key
In other words, this plan is for those who want to make Apollo the core of their sales tech stack, and they need a bit stricter security features. While you do unlock extra credits for outbound sales, the pricing also jumps up quite a bit, which means that Organization is not going to be popular with smaller teams and startups.
But before you decide whether to purchase Apollo or not, you need to understand how credits work.
How do Apollo credits work?
Apollo has a credit system, and each of your sales reps gets a certain number of credits with their plan. Here is how the credit usage works:
- Verified emails: 1 credit
- Phone numbers: 8 credits
- Data enrichment: 1-8 credits, depending on which data you’re missing from the lead profile
- AI research: 1 credit per run
Apollo credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. So, if you purchase an annual plan, the credits will expire once a year has passed.
Of course, you may also use up your credits early, and you can purchase additional credits when it happens.

What this means for your budget
The Free plan makes no sense if you already run sales in your team. It’s an okay solution if you want to test the waters and get a taste of what the paid accounts could give you in the future.
The Basic plan is probably the best value, as you unlock most features, and you can easily buy credits when you run out. You won’t get any unexpected costs, and it should fit the bill for those just growing a sales team.
The Professional plan not only has more credits, but it also unlocks automation tools, split testing, and dialers. It’s for more experienced sales teams that know how to get the most out of their tech stack.
The Organization plan is best for enterprise teams that value security and privacy and need extra credits from the start.
None of the plans come with unlimited email credits, so while there are technically no hidden costs, it’s hard to say that it’s easy to predict how much this pricing model will cost you.
The best solution for any team would be to start with an Apollo contract on the lowest possible pricing plan and assess your credit consumption accordingly. You can then upgrade as needed.
