Look through your marketing toolbox and you’ll see constant changes — refreshed user interfaces, site makeovers, new features added, optimized dashboards and more. It’s just the nature of SaaS tools to adapt and keep up with changes in user expectations, market conditions, tech improvements and more.

The same constant change applies to updates in the way you pay to use these tools.

We have just introduced changes in our pricing structure to better align certain value metrics with the way that you use Woodpecker. Our fees are tied more to your use of our platform, and we’re confident that your own experience shows that the more you use Woodpecker, the more successful you are.

Until now, we’ve based our pricing on email “slots”, or addresses from which you can reach out to prospects. After careful observation of how our users use Woodpecker, we decided that “slots” don’t really match the way you think about the volume of your cold email outreach.

Under our new model, the primary value metrics are contacted prospects and stored prospects. Additionally, for Woodpecker Agency customers, the number of active clients is also factored in.

 

Contacted prospects:

Any prospect processed by the system in a single campaign. Processed means that the system performed an action on a prospect e.g. validated prospect’s email address or send an email or run a task – in a single campaign. For example, if you add the same prospect to two campaigns and run them, system will count it as 2 contacted prospects.

Stored prospects:

All prospects in your “Prospects” table, except deleted ones.

The combinations of contacted prospects and stored prospects is available in paired tiers (e.g. 2 000 contacted prospects and 8 000 stored prospects) for the whole product (in case of Woodpecker Agency, tier will be available for the whole agency, not per client).

Active clients (only in Woodpecker Agency):

Clients added and maintained under your “Active clients” section, in the Agency panel. One (1) active client is obligatory.

We understand that changes in price structures raise questions so we want to provide a clear understanding of the reasons behind it.

The point of these changes is to tie your payments directly to usage metrics and the results that you get from Woodpecker. We believe it’s better for all of us if you can more easily see the relationship between what you’re paying for and what you’re getting.
