Prospect enrichment is the process of gathering additional data about a potential customer to create a comprehensive profile from a basic contact record. In Woodpecker, there are two ways you can enrich the data of your leads or prospects.

First, there is our Lead Finder. After filtering what you want to find, a list of contacts will be presented, which you can later add to the Woodpecker database or directly to the campaign. In the process of adding it to the database, details of such a lead will be intercepted and added to the database as well.

The second option is enrichment directly in the Prospects tab. If you already have a list of contacts, but it’s not complete, and you wish to find more information automatically, you can use our data enrichment option.

How to enrich data from the Prospects table level?

Whether you want to do it in the main Prospects table or when creating/editing the campaign, the process is the same.

Select prospects from the table and click on the “Enrich prospects” icon at the top of the table.

A pop-up will appear with the information on how many prospects are selected, how many are already enriched, and how many are yet to be enriched. The number of prospects you can enrich depends on the number of Lead Finder credits you have. If the enrichment is successful, Lead Finder credits will be used accordingly.

After confirming by clicking on the "Enrich prospects" button, you’ll see the hourglass icon next to those contacts that are being enriched.

This process occurs in the background, allowing you to continue with your other work in the app while the prospects are being enriched. Woodpecker will notify you when it’s done.

The green icon next to the prospect means that the prospect has been successfully enriched. The red one indicates that, due to the data issue, the prospect couldn’t be enriched. Along with the icon, each prospect from this process will have an “Enriched” tag added to their data.

The order in which the enrichment happens is that the prospects' enrichments are added by prospect ID in descending order, which means that the latest prospects visible in the table should be processed first.

If there is any data added by you earlier, and then you decide to enrich those prospects, the data found in this process will overwrite the data added by you.

'TO CHECK' tab

If your prospects land under the 'To Check' tab with the Snippet issue, you can choose to fill in the missing snippet fields yourself or opt to enrich them so the data is added automatically. Lead Finder credits will be used in this process as well.
