How to integrate Woodpecker account with Pipedrive
What does it look like in your Pipedrive account?

How it works
-
Adding a prospect to Woodpecker automatically creates a new contact in Pipedrive, transferring all the corresponding data.
-
All emails sent from Woodpecker to a particular prospect are shown in Pipedrive.
-
You can see if your emails were opened or replied to.
-
All the replies (also the auto-replies!) registered by Woodpecker are assigned to a particular contact in Pipedrive.
-
The content of both a sent message and a reply can be seen in Pipedrive.
-
Your message got bounced or your prospect was invalid? Now you can check it directly in Pipedrive on your contact’s page.
-
You can see the prospect’s Interest Level, but without seeing the reply’s content.
-
If you delete your prospects from Woodpecker, their contacts in Pipedrive will be removed as well.
Head over to our blog to read about the benefits and what our native Pipedrive integration can do for you.
Pipedrive will sync data from Woodpecker only from the moment those apps are synced. There is no past synchronization – only contacts with a new activity, after syncing the apps, will be transferred to Pipedrive.
You won’t be able to add contacts from the Leads tab in Pipedrive, as the synchronization is limited to the Contacts tab and its fields only.
How to integrate Woodpecker account with Pipedrive
1. Go to Marketplace → Integrations → CRMs → click on ‘Pipedrive’.
2. Next, click CONNECT.
3. Click on the CONNECT button and a new window will appear.
Here you have the option to log in to your Pipedrive account just by writing your credentials or connecting through Google, LinkedIn, and SSO key.
4. After successful login, allow Pipedrive to access your account by clicking on the “Allow and install” button.
Connecting from Pipedrive
You also have the possibility to connect our App from the Marketplace in Pipedrive. Search for “Woodpecker.co” there and click on the “Install now” button.
A window from Pipedrive will pop up, asking for your approval. Click on the “Allow and Install” button and you should connect successfully.
5. Match default Pipedrive fields with the Woodpecker ones.
Remember that the Pipedrive field or Woodpecker field names can’t be edited.
You can choose how you want to sync each field between apps by simply choosing them from the drop-down list.
If you need to match more fields, click on the “add new field” button.
The First Name, Last Name, and Email fields are automatically matched to the corresponding ones in Pipedrive and can’t be changed.
If you don’t match the ‘Organization’ field, new contacts will be synced separately, not under certain companies in Pipedrive.
In the Activities tab, you can also choose which ones you want to be synced with your Pipedrive account. Just use the switch buttons to turn them on and off.
6. Success! Your integration with Pipedrive is now working.
7. You can always switch it ON/OFF using the button in the right-hand corner.
When you pause your Pipedrive integration in Woodpecker, the new activities won’t be synchronized. Setup configuration stays intact (API keys and field mapping.)
Once you unpause the integration, only the new activity will be synchronized and will not be retroactive to the prior activity, unless you edit it.
Synchronization options
In the General settings tab, you will find the Synchronization options to choose how you’d like this Integration to work. You can select between 2-way sync, Woodpecker to Pipedrive synchronization, or Pipedrive to Woodpecker one.
Synchronization in both ways includes:
-
creating Contacts in Pipedrive from newly added prospects in Woodpecker and vice versa – contacts from Pipedrive will land in the main Prospects tab,
-
updating anything whenever there’s a change in Pipedrive or Woodpecker.
Actions feature
With the Actions feature, you can automatically create deals in Pipedrive with Prospects who responded or were interested in your emails.
You can read more about it in our help article on Actions right here »
What does the integration look like in your Pipedrive account?
‘Company settings’
Here you can see new activities, for example ‘ Campaign email’, ‘Open’ or ‘Status’.
‘Contact tab’
Here you can check:
-
The content of the emails that were sent to your prospects (Email sent).
-
What did your prospects’ replies look like (Replied).
-
Besides their content, you can see if the messages were opened (Open) or replied to (Replied), etc.
-
Also, Woodpecker automatically transfers bounces (Bounced), auto-replies (Auto reply), and statuses (Invalid).
-
Depending on your prospect’s reply, Interest Level can be seen as Interested / Maybe later / Not interested. You won’t be able to see the content of the reply though.
Troubleshooting
Paused integration
At times, you may notice that your integration gets paused, for example, due to the token being expired. In that case, you have to connect the account once again. In some cases though, unpausing the integration might be enough for it to work properly again.
Custom fields
If you’ve added any custom fields in Pipedrive after connecting it to Woodpecker, there might be a chance that it won’t show in our App right away. You can try to refresh it by exiting the Integrations tab and opening it again with the Pipedrive integration view.
The only custom field Woodpecker supports right now is the one called Person under the “Data fields” tab in your Pipedrive account.
