Connecting Google Workspace account to the warm-up process

When adding an email account to the warm-up, you’ll be asked to fill in some fields with your first and last name, along with an App password.

Note: The App password is not the same as the password with which you log into your Google account!

If you’re connecting a Google Workspace account, here’s what you need to do.

In your Google Account, head to the Security tab. Select “2-Step Verification” under “How you sign in to Google,” and follow the instructions there.

After 2-Step Verification is enabled, you can create an App password. Go to the App Passwords section under the 2-Step Verification page in your Google Accounts – if you don't see this section, click on this link: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords.

In order to get an App password, you’ll need to type the name of the app. In the case of Mailivery as your warm-up provider, you can name it as such and click the “Create” button.

After receiving the App password, you can copy it, enter it in Woodpecker, and confirm adding the warm-up.
