How it works
Daily Limit is the maximum number of opening emails (or steps) that can be sent out within 24 hours. This is useful to manage your campaign flow and deliverability and keep it under control.
This limit only applies to the opening steps, not the follow-ups. Sending individual emails in the cadence may overlap, and the follow-ups are prioritized in that case.
You can set this number while creating an opening email in your campaign – by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the edit page.
How to increase it
If you feel like your limit is not enough to fulfill your campaign goals, feel free to increase it using campaign settings. Click on the gear icon to change the number of the daily limit there.
Remember that even with a high limit of opening emails you must keep in mind your email provider's limits » in order not to get blocked by them.
Setup for multiple mailboxes in one campaign
If you use more than one mailbox in your campaign, the number provided for prospect enrollment in Step 1 will apply to each mailbox individually.
Instead of multiplying by the number of mailboxes, simply put in the number you want each of your mailboxes to reach daily. Woodpecker will automatically calculate and spread the sending of the campaign evenly among all the mailboxes, making sure they reach the limit without exceeding it.
Example:
Let’s say you have 10 mailboxes for sending in one campaign. If you set up a daily limit of 40 prospects in Step 1, this will be multiplied by the number of mailboxes in the campaign, so 10*40 = 400 prospects will be contacted with the opening email.
Keep in mind that this is still a limit for an opening message—follow-ups don’t count toward this. The rest of the steps will be sent according to your mailbox sending limit set up in your Accounts settings.

Q: Is this limit applied per campaign?
Yes, this limit is applied per campaign for each mailbox for opening messages only.
Q: Is this limit also applied to follow-ups?
No, this limit only applies to opening emails. Follow-ups are only limited by your email providers’ servers’ limits and the general limits of an email account in Woodpecker.
Q: Is the Daily Limit a set number, or can I set the value by myself?
Our Daily Limit is the maximum number of prospects that can receive an opening message. You can change this number to a maximum of 500 emails.
