If you added your mailboxes to the warm-up process after reading this article, you can read about the provider distribution settings available for it here.
By default, all major email providers (such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo) receive warm-up emails as part of Warmy's warm-up process. While it guarantees wide coverage, it's not the best option for customized campaigns.
Provider distribution lets you:
focus on service providers that your target audience actually uses,
not waste resources on unrelated email providers,
estabilish a reputation with the appropriate email platforms to increase deliverability.
This setting is possible only for the Warmy provider via Woodpecker. If you set it up, it will override the global preferences of distribution.
After activating the warm-up, click on the mailbox and head to the "Warm-up" tab and scroll down until you see the Provider distribution section.
By default, no values are set, so you can set them yourself. You have three options here:
Equal distribution – between 16 and 17% for every listed email provider.
B2B preset – 40% for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and 20% for custom SMTP providers.
B2C preset – 80% for Gmail, and 10% for Outlook and Yahoo mailboxes.
You can also set the distribution individually and manually if you don't want to use the ready presets. Just change each provider's percentage value in the boxes.
You may see this view right after connecting your mailbox to the warm-up process. It means the system is preparing this functionality for your mailbox. Come back later to set the provider distribution.
