In this article, you’ll find the tutorial on installing the Dux-Soup extension on your browser.
Before installing the Dux-Soup extension, you must check if your web browser supports it. The tool works on Chrome, Yandex, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Opera.
After it’s settled, it’s time for the installation of the plug-in.
Head to the Dux-Soup page, and click on the “Install Dux-Soup” button.
You’ll be redirected to the app store of your web browser, where you can install/add the extension for the browser.
Once it’s added, the website with the login option will appear, where you can sign in with your Google account. Choose the account you want to have connected with Dux-Soup (it’s best if you use the same one you have connected to Woodpecker already).
If it’s your first Dux-Soup account, you will have an active Turbo plan trial by default, which is necessary for the integration to work. After the trial period ends, you will have to purchase this plan.
Look for the Dux-Soup icon in the Extensions tab of your web browser, and click on it. After a window pops up, click on the “Options” icon.
The panel that shows up will be the only place where you can set up your connection with other tools. But before you set up the connection, head to the “User” tab, and change the user type from ‘regular’ to ‘expert’, as only the latter gives you full access to Dux-Soup settings.
Now, to set up your API, click on the “Connect” tab, where you’ll find all the options to do so.
In the “Webhook” section you are able to configure max. 5 webhooks, including the most important ones, i.e. the Woodpecker ones.
With each webhook entered, leave only the “Message” and “Remote control” events checked.
Lastly, for everything to work properly, switch the “Remote Control” option on.
Everything described above is crucial information on installing the extension. For details on connecting Dux-Soup to Woodpecker, head to our article on this subject here »
