We had 150 customers then. This year, we met again. And we were talking about new challenges that we&#8217;ll be facing as a <span id=\"urn:enhancement-14adecf\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">SaaS<\/span> company with over 800 <span id=\"urn:enhancement-fa7cf4bb\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">B2B<\/span> companies as premium customers on board. Keep on reading to learn about the people of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-d179b19\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span> \u2013 our daily routines,\u00a0challenges, plans, and visions. Take a peek at\u00a0some photos of our team\u00a0at Woodpecker Meeting II.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the Woodpecker Meeting all about?<\/h2>\n<p>We decided to make a little annual tradition out of it. It&#8217;s one\u00a0day when we don&#8217;t come to the office, but gather\u00a0some place else to talk and update one another. It&#8217;s a time when all our teams (product, marketing, <span id=\"urn:enhancement-5e393443\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">sales<\/span>, customer success, etc.) are supposed to catch up with one another\u00a0and learn more about one another&#8217;s work. It&#8217;s a time when we stop for a while to\u00a0think about where we are at the moment, and where we&#8217;re heading as a company.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also a time when we spend some time together, outside the office\u00a0\u2013 which allows us to better get to know the teammates\u00a0who we don&#8217;t work with\u00a0very closely on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<h2>Woodpecker Meeting II report<\/h2>\n<p>So this year we met on June 9th. Just like last year, at\u00a0Business Link Wroclaw\u00a0which is a place where <span id=\"urn:enhancement-42e8f3ff\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span> was born. Since the last year&#8217;s meeting, the number of Woodpecker team members has doubled, but what&#8217;s most important, the number of our customers grew from 150 to 800 over the last year.<\/p>\n<h3>A short summary in numbers<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2+\u00a0years<\/strong>,\u00a0that\u2019s about how long we\u2019ve been working on Woodpecker<\/li>\n<li><strong>29\u00a0people<\/strong>, that\u2019s how many people are working\u00a0on <span id=\"urn:enhancement-20a12ed7\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span> at the moment<\/li>\n<li><strong>100<\/strong>, that\u2019s how many blog posts we\u2019ve published on <span id=\"urn:enhancement-c254bf80\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span>\u2019s blog so far (actually it\u2019s 101 including the one you\u2019re reading right now)<\/li>\n<li><strong>800+<\/strong>,\u00a0that\u2019s how many <span id=\"urn:enhancement-68d33a71\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">B2B<\/span> companies are currently\u00a0on <span id=\"urn:enhancement-45d16eca\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span>\u2019s premium subscription<\/li>\n<li><strong>52<\/strong>, that\u2019s how many countries those companies come from<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;ve grown, we&#8217;ve learned a lot and we&#8217;re still learning. We&#8217;ve realized that we&#8217;re facing other challenges than we were a year ago. But we&#8217;ve also realized that most of the issues\u00a0we struggled with last year have been resolved.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the teams were also asked to prepare some presentations about topics specific to their departments.<\/p>\n<p>First, Matt (CEO) talked about the plans for the future as well as our &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action\">why, how, what<\/a>&#8220;. He also took us\u00a0back to the beginnings of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-765ae041\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span> and reminisced about our foundations.<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3564 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/06\/DSC4204-e1498123830957.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"465\" \/>\n<p>Then there was time for our CTO, Maciej, to share with us some basics about the technical part of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-5bdfec87\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span>. So we learned a bit about servers, IPs, <span id=\"urn:enhancement-b0de21dc\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> scheduling mechanisms and generally about what needs to be taken care of so that 800+ <span id=\"urn:enhancement-78fb461\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">B2B<\/span> companies could safely and fluently send their <span id=\"urn:enhancement-2f8685b6\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> outreach campaigns automatically from <span id=\"urn:enhancement-cd24200e\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span>. Believe me, that&#8217;s tons of information to be processed. To make that happen, you do need machines but, most importantly, you need agile brains, like Maciej&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3567 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/06\/DSC4149-e1498125435290.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"464\" \/>\n<p>Right after Maciej&#8217;s 10 minutes,\u00a0we had a short presentation from Pawel, who is\u00a0our senior\u00a0front-end developer. He showed us what <span id=\"urn:enhancement-62f5b2aa\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span> would look like if it wasn&#8217;t for the front-end part he&#8217;s taking care of every day. Believe me, you&#8217;d rather not see that. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Then I talked about what we do in our marketing corner, as we call our part of the office. When preparing my presentation, I got back to some slides from the last year, and\u00a0what a sweet moment it was when I realized that all our last year&#8217;s plans considering <a href=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Woodpecker&#8217;s\u00a0website<\/a> have come true over the year. I highlighted once again the great meaning\u00a0of cooperation of all departments on our way to coherent marketing and communication with our customers.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_3572\" style=\"width: 708px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3572\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3572 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/06\/DSC4211-e1498131433643.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"465\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3572\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Marketing Team at Woodpecker<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>To nicely close up the first part of our meeting, Kamila \u2013 our Office Manager, took over to remind us about the importance of our company culture, and how we can cultivate it, considering the fact that we are growing and our team is getting bigger as well.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_3571\" style=\"width: 708px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3571\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3571 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/06\/DSC4194-e1498131145396.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"465\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3571\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kamila Zbinkowska, Office Manager at Woodpecker<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Next, there was time for a presentation from our most numerous team \u2013\u00a0Customer Success. The presentation was an excellent example of teamwork. After a short intro from Greg, Head of Customer Success, Seb outlined for us the 10 rules of customer success, and Margaret told us about the daily routine of a customer success specialist. Then,\u00a0Sylvia summarized her most recent findings on our Ideal Customer Profile.<\/p>\n<p>All that allowed us to realize what a long way we&#8217;ve come since the beginning of the customer success team, and how much there still is for us to work on and develop.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_3574\" style=\"width: 708px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3574\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3574 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/06\/DSC4292-e1498132179448.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"465\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3574\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Greg, Margaret &amp; Seb, or the more experienced half of Woodpecker&#8217;s Customer Success Team<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>The Inbound Sales team took over from there. Vovik and Yurii presented the specifics of their everyday <span id=\"urn:enhancement-37f47edf\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">sales<\/span> work. They talked about how they work with our users on different stages of the pipeline. At the end,\u00a0they shared some statistics mirroring the results and talked about some plans for the future, in the light of expanding the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-37c22032\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">sales<\/span> team.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_3576\" style=\"width: 708px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3576\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3576 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/06\/DSC4267-e1498133472525.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"465\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3576\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vovik_Tsybulskyi, head of Inbound Sales at Woodpecker<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s how the second part of the meeting ended. In the third part, we had a presentation about deliverability prepared and presented by Wojtek Blazalek, Head of Integrations. <a href=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/cold-email\/deliverability-checks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deliverability<\/a> is a technically complex part of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-94099910\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-organization\">Woodpecker<\/span>&#8216;s activity and something\u00a0that we work very hard on lately, together with our clients.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_3577\" style=\"width: 708px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3577\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3577 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2017\/06\/DSC4295-e1498135339320.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"465\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3577\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wojtek Blazalek, Head of Integrations at Woodpecker<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Ania took over from Wojtek to tell us about her job as a UX\/UI designer. We have a great team and we can only hope that it will keep that way as we grow.<\/li>\n<li>I want you to stop for a while and think about when was the last time you had a chance to wonder about your company as a whole.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>What are your latest achievements?
