Doing this will give you something to measure your success against.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Say, for example, you are a recruitment consultant trying to find Sales Director candidates for a job vacancy in the IT sector.\u00a0 Here are some examples of objectives you may set:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It could be as simple as <\/span><b>building your network of 1st-degree connections<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with Sales Directors in the IT sector. By sending connection requests to these profiles you can expand your network of suitable candidates. Your LinkedIn activity will be seen by your network which can generate passive awareness.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may define your objective as identifying Sales Directors that are <\/span><b>currently open to job opportunities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This is a list of LinkedIn profiles that you can target to meet your objective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a number of different methods you can use to find your target audience on LinkedIn, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Search results<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lead lists in Sales Navigator<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alumni<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Employee lists<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group members<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Post reactions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Custom lists &#8211; pulled in from a 3rd party tool for example.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s take a simple search result in LinkedIn to start with. By searching for \u2018Sales Director\u2019 and then clicking on \u2018people\u2019, we can add filters for \u2018industry\u2019 plus select additional filters such as \u2018geography\u2019. One way to be more specific is by using Boolean searches. This is a great little hack to find people that are further down the buying cycle, giving you the opportunity to engage with an \u2018in-market\u2019 audience when you run your LinkedIn activity. To do this, go to the company page and click on \u2018people\u2019. You\u2019ll get a list of all employees on LinkedIn associated with that organization. Do not bombard your audience with too many messages in a short period of time. The longer your campaign lasts, the greater your chances of genuine interaction with a prospect.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When creating a Campaign with Dux-Soup, start by giving your campaign a name. This also becomes the Campaign ID. Just bring up your list and opt for one of the following two methods:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. Manual enrollment. The benefit of this method is that it allows you to hand-select the profiles that you want to enroll into a campaign making it more targeted. Once you have your search list, the Dux-Soup Tricks widget will appear.
