Gerard is a\u00a0<span id=\"urn:enhancement-9ca4d9c8\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">salesman<\/span>, who used to work building list of prospects in a lead generation company. It was an internal tools for\u00a0some time before Gerard and Cristian (the current CTO) decided to make it an\u00a0openly available product\u00a0that\u00a0helps <span style=\"background-color: rgba(46, 146, 255, 0.4);\">salespeople<\/span>\u00a0connect with their <span id=\"urn:enhancement-4b93bf\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-person\">prospects<\/span>. The tool has been developed in Barcelona for a year and a half now, and it currently has over 11,000 users of the Chrome extension.<\/p>\n<p>Although the app isn&#8217;t\u00a0very popular yet, considering the benefits it can bring its users, it&#8217;s going to get popularity\u00a0soon enough. It has already gained great companies as its clients including Salesforce and HubSpot.\u00a0I\u00a0asked Gerard 8 questions about the FindThatLead, and here are the answers.<\/p>\n<h4><b>How would you describe FindThatLead\u00a0in 4-5 sentences?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Gerard:\u00a0<\/strong>FindThatLead is a simple and affordable\u00a0tool helping entrepreneurs and <span id=\"urn:enhancement-504c3856\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">salespeople<\/span> find <span id=\"urn:enhancement-2ac8cfff\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> addresses while prospecting on social platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter. Then, it\u00a0confirms that the found <span id=\"urn:enhancement-14f9b4e3\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> is correct, to reduce bounce rates. FTL has been created to empower\u00a0online lead generation based\u00a0on Predictable Revenue.<\/p>\n<h4><b>What is the greatest benefit of using\u00a0<\/b><b>FindThatLead<\/b><b>?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><strong>G: <\/strong>The greatest benefit is that you can get your <span id=\"urn:enhancement-466e1b23\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-person\">prospect<\/span>&#8216;s <span id=\"urn:enhancement-b623f1b7\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> with just two clicks. You can do this via LinkedIn with just one click.<\/p>\n<h4><b>Do I need any additional tools\/add-ons to use\u00a0<\/b><b>FindThatLead\u00a0<\/b><b style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">efficiently?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><strong>G: <\/strong>FTL has been designed to help you collect <span id=\"urn:enhancement-19b50b05\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> addresses while prospecting on social platforms like LinkedIn or Twitter, but you don&#8217;t have to use those to still get <span id=\"urn:enhancement-6103a4f0\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> addresses of the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-42abda40\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-person\">prospects<\/span> in your database. It is you who needs to find your ideal customers, and it is you who needs to answer the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-676d8835\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">emails<\/span>. We&#8217;re integrated with Salesforce, so you can import or export leads in and out.<\/p>\n<h4><b>How many contacts can I have per month?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><strong>G: <\/strong>The Large package allows you to perform up to 18,000 searches a month.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, you have to be super-organized, and look for <span id=\"urn:enhancement-3002732e\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-person\">prospects<\/span> reguarly on a daily basis \u2013 but that&#8217;s how we built our business, and we recommend the prospect-focused search process because it actually brings new clients. We gain 80% leads for our business via outbound based on Predictable Revenue methodology.<\/p>\n<p>Currently we have 43% efficiency rate, which means that for every 100 searches, 43 emails will be found on average. But we keep improving the algorithm.<\/p>\n<h4><b>How much is it?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><strong>G:<\/strong>\u00a0In the Large package at $90\/month \u00a0(for maximum of 4 users) the cost of one <span id=\"urn:enhancement-d74afcad\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email address<\/span> search is as low as $0.01. It works not only on LinkedIn, but also on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, it&#8217;s not always effective (as Gerard mentioned, the average efficiency of FTL is 43%), but if it generates an <span id=\"urn:enhancement-65f2d4bc\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email address<\/span> that has\u00a0not been 100% proven to be right, you&#8217;ll be informed about that <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013<\/span> which allows you to decide if you want to take risk and use the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-2cb2a9cd\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email address<\/span> or not.<\/p>\n<h3>Twitter followers tracking<\/h3>\n<p>That is a great feature and we haven&#8217;t seen it anywhere else yet. How does it work? Basically, if you have someone&#8217;s Twitter\u00a0username, you can use it to see all their followers in FTLs dashboard, and you can try to collect their <span id=\"urn:enhancement-c92193b2\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-thing\">email<\/span> with a single click.<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1758 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/woodpecker.co\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2016\/05\/FindThatLead_twitter-e1462450277578.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"204\" \/>\n<p>The feature is not perfect yet, for instance it could allow the user to edit the website address imported from Twitter (like the Chrome extension does). Plus it would be great to see a bigger photo and the whole description from the profile in FTLs dashboard to decide if a follower is our <span id=\"urn:enhancement-7c544b8d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-person\">prospect<\/span> or not. Nonetheless, the feature is an awesome idea and it has a great potential.<\/p>\n<h3>Import from .CSV<\/h3>\n<p>If you have a contact base including names, surnames and company domains of your prospects, you can upload it to FindThatLead&#8217;s dashboard for bulk collecting emails. That&#8217;s a simple feature, yet it may be very useful one in some prospecting workflows.<\/p>\n<h5>THINGS THAT\u00a0STILL CAN BE IMPROVED<\/h5>\n<h3>User interface<\/h3>\n<p>FindThatLead is a young company, and as many other\u00a0young companies (including Woodpecker), they still need to spend some time improving not only their technology and algorithims, but also their interface and user experience. The dashboard is quite new and it may feel a little rough, especially if you&#8217;re used to complete and shiny products. But it&#8217;s fully usable and functional, which definitely should be appreciated.<\/p>\n<h3>WHOIS information download<\/h3>\n<p>The WHOIS information search embedded in the dashboard would be invaluable help in finding email addresses, although we found it to fail in providing information many times. We cross-checked the same domains on WHOIS searches outside FTL, and they provided us with information that FTL was unable to show in the dashboard. Nonetheless, the feature seems useful, and it&#8217;s worth improving.<\/p>\n<h3>Charging for a search attempt, not for a found email<\/h3>\n<p>The pricing seems very attractive and I know that Gerard and his team want their product to be affordable. However, you need to be aware that using FTL you&#8217;ll be charged for the searching of the email address, even if it&#8217;s not found. In short, if you have a base of 100 contacts and you want to find emails for all of them, it may appear that FTL will find\u00a0only 43 valid addresses, but you get\u00a0charged 100 credits anyway for the very process of searching the emails.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Our FindThatLead review<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/findthatlead.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FindThatLead<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0is especially helpful if you&#8217;re prospecting digging over\u00a0LinkedIn and Twitter profiles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This lead generation tool designed mainly for collecting email addresses.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has a handy Chrome\u00a0extension that makes the prospecting process faster and more convenient.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The price per contact is low, nonetheless keep in mind that you&#8217;ll\u00a0be charged for each search attempt, not for a found valid email address.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need to realize that\u00a0FTL\u00a0finds on average 43 email addresses\/100 searches. Nonetheless, you will be informed which addresses on your list are 100% valid, and which aren&#8217;t.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s a young product created by a creative team at the beginning of their entrepreneurial road.
